From millions of pounds of parade waste to energy-intensive logistics and infrastructure, the environmental footprint of Carnival season is substantial and growing.
At the same time, there is increasing urgency—and opportunity—to rethink how major cultural events operate in a more sustainable, circular, and climate-conscious way.
